ACFWS

The Academy has created a NATIONAL NETWORK OF SOME 50 COLLEGES across the United Kingdom that can work to the mutual advantage of us all to provide:

* local advice to employers and their staff on training in food, wine, bar service, meetings and events;
* AFWS training packs where required;
* tutorial support and guidance;
* assessment services for employers to help their staff gain qualifications;
* discounts on pack purchases for full members of the AFWS;
* access to other AFWS activities such as “Skill Build” Seminars.

The Academy will actively publicise and promote to employers and their staff the courses, services and support being provided by the colleges in our network. In return the AFWS will be able to offer you the opportunity to:

* generate additional income;
* meet and network with local employers in your area;
* attend local AFWS events, such as tutored wine tastings;
* select college students to attend AFWS events;
* receive copies of the AFWS newsletter “Table Service” published six times a year;
* take part in new competitions, eg, Student Wine Waiter of the Year.

All we ask in return is a small registration fee of £50 per annum, to be paid when you become an accredited member of the Network.
