The 2019 Taittinger UK Sommelier of the Year competition will be held on 8 July at the Savoy, London.
The winner of the 2018 competition was Alex Freguin, Head Sommelier, Moor Hall, Ormskirk. Past winners include such luminaries of the UK wine landscape as Gerard Basset, Nicolas Clerc, Ronan Sayburn and Xavier Rousset.
