South West France Wines Masterclass
DARE TO BE DIFFERENT
Join David Williams, wine correspondent for The Observer and member of The Wine Gang, to discover an extraordinary diversity of wine styles and flavours from the South West of France.
“It’s the sheer diversity of indigenous varieties and flavours that you really don’t get anywhere else.”- David Williams, The Wine Gang
The masterclass will showcase 10 different South West French wines from denominations including, Landes, Côtes de Gascogne, Pacherenc du Vic Bilh, Gaillac, Côtes du Tarn, Fronton, Cahors, Madiran and made with indigenous grapes varieties including Tannat, Braucol, Négrette, Petit Courbu, Loin de l’œil, Gros and Petit Manseng, Colombard and Ugni Blanc.
David has chosen each wine as a worthy alternative to more familiar names, and the tasting will seek to demonstrate their quality, food-matching credentials, and also what makes them dare to be different.

The class is free of charge but the spaces are limited.
