Join us at the next VAT CAMPAIGN WORKSHOP. We have had very positive feedback and many offers of support for our campaign to reduce the rate of VAT to five per cent for visitor accommodation and attractions. We are taking this campaign forward by building a network of members and other grassroots supporters across the country who are committed to lobbying MPs, local politicians and media in their region.
To support you in your campaigning we have great pleasure in inviting members to a Grassroots Workshop to help spread the industry’s VAT message.
…VENUE: Calcot Manor, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, GL8 8YJ on Thursday 8 November.
The workshop is FREE and runs from 12.00 to 3.30. If you would like to have lunch, we have a great rate of £15 per head.
…WHAT WILL HAPPEN?: The day will include all the elements that you will need to take the campaign forward in your own area, including:
Introduction to the campaign strategy.
What are the campaign’s main messages?
Introduction to handling local media.
Introduction to lobbying your local MP and Councillors.
Introduction to digital campaigning.
